Hi, i have recently bought a new wireless mouse + keyboard but only 3 days later the batteries are dead. These were the free ones however which are some make ive never heard of. How long should some decent batteries last like 'energizer'? Thankyou

I have MSN intellimouse & keyboard in daily use and creplace batteries about twice a year.

Logitech also last for 6 months or mare

I got mine with my PC about a year ago. The mouse unfortunately does not have an on off switch, and so uses power ALL the time. I generally had to replace every two weeks or so. Having got fed up, I now have a corded optical mouse an it's brilliant.

The batteries in the Keyboard though are still the original batteries.

Just a word of caution tho. Wireless is all very well, but until the computer comes on, it's ineffective - totally useless if you need to stop a disc check or need to get into safe mode.
