In case you miss it, Steve D has made a good suggestion regarding email addresses two questions below this. It would seem to make more sense than people posting email addresses publicly. Any chance of this happening, or would it involve you in too much work?

There's a lot of little school kids playing about on this site at the moment well into the night. If they start displaying their email addresses they could be in trouble.

I thought SteveD's suggestion was a good one too, but I did wonder about the extra work it might create for the Ed: Here

Hi gesso - personal messaging is not something we are exploring at the moment. Most forums do allow the transfer of email addresses and as long as users are responsible and know the risks then we opted to provide that extra flexibility.

If you think an email addy should not remain on the site - in the case of a youngster as you mention, then please report it as usual. Parents should monitor their children's web activity however.
