Video Software

Does anyone know of a program that will convert .avi video to quicktime (.mov) for editing within avid? I've tried downloading different types of software that aparantly does this, however when it's installed it will do quicktime to avi but not the other way around.

Please Help!!

I'm sure premier supports AVI's. Then you can specify a quicktime codec to output the final movie. Its been about 5 years since I used it last though.....
