how do i get my computer running through my TV?

yeah hi,

im trying to get my computer to run through my digital tv with a scart connector. now, ive got a belkin pc-dvd to tv cable kit.

Ive got a radeon 9600.

Ive connected the cable but nothing happens on the tv. Do i need software?

a bit of help would be great

This is probably too obvious, but have you scrolled through the AV channels on your TV remote?

Alternatives, try conecting the equipment first, and then switching on the computer to see if it auto-detects the TV. If that doesn't work you may need to adjust the 'Display' settings in 'Control Panel' so the TV can handle the image.

I have to click Fn F6 on my laptop to transfer the screen to the tv.

Is there something similar on your computer?
