scanning files from limwire

Hello, I am downloading music from limewire and I just wondered how to scan each file for viruses etc. I've got AVG but do i need anything else? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Should do the job pretty well as long as it's updated.

I use limewire and have avg, and I have had no problems with viruses.

Just to be on the safe side, after you have been using it I always use Ad Aware and Spybot to search for spyware and other nasties

if avg is running you are covered but to be sure,right-click the dl'ed file and 'scan with avg'.
