Where can i get my sony playstation repaired it has stopped reading discs

I think you can get a replacement from Sony for �50.

If its coming up with 'disc read error' its a common porblem with PS2's, mine went last year and i did as it says on this Link .

Its not as complicated as it sounds and mine has been fine since (and also runs quieter as you get a chance to clean it out).

firstly,as strange as it sounds,try turning it upside down then turning on.the disc to laser distance is altered and may provide a solution of sorts to your problem.

if you still want to go the repair route,then use sony.they will collect yours and swap it there and then for another repaired ps2.

i had the same trouble and just put some wd40 on a cotton bud and applied it to the runners that the lazer slides up and down on. do this if it keeps freezing...it worked for me.
