When my PC started up today I got a message on saying that a file was fat and I should check the disc. What does this mean? Any ideas? Thanks.

FAT refers to File Allocation Table. The disk check usually starts on rebooting after Windows crashes (for whatever reason) while files are being written to the hard drive. If you get this message then you should just wait a few seconds and the disk check will activate and make sure that your files aren't corrupt.
