1) If I bought a mobile on 02 and have it unlocked to go onto Orange, would the WAP service on Orange still once the Orange sim is inserted ?

2) Roughly how much would it cost to upgrade a pay as you go mobile on a selected network ? Am i right in thinking that the upgrade cost would depend on the model of mobile ? How soon can you upgrade ?

Orange uses different software to O2, Voda and T mobile. I know line 2 wont work if you put orange sim in a non orange phone but not sure about the WAP. It would make more sense to buy an orange phone on ebay.

Most 02 phones that i have had experience with are already unlocked when i have got them...............

if it is an o2 payg phone it will be locked to o2 and even when unlocked the orsange wap service is unlikeley to work since the correct software settings wont be on the phone and orange wont send their settings to a non orenge handset.

If it is an o2 contract handset it will probably already be unlocked
