ntl v's sky+

I'm one of the unfortunate ones that cannot have a sky dish on my property, I have friends and family that have Sky+ and I'm very jealous, does anyone know if NTL have plans of bringing something like Sky+ out or would it be wise to invest in a DVD hard drive recorder would that be the same kinda thing.

is there a good reason why you can't get a dish? is it in your tenancy agreement that you can't have one or did a sky engineer come out and tell you 'it couldn't be done?'

i managed to get around both, by gettin a good private installer who will actually do somethin other than a 'standard installation.' someone who knows their stuff might be able to work around the problem... but it can cost a packet!!

NTL are supposed to be bringing out an HD PVR sometime this year (which probably means next year).
Apparently its going to have 3 tuners.
