adware / virus (new.net)

Hi all, can anybody help me with this ****** thats stuck in my pc ? it was stopping my browser working - i have tried norton, spybot, and cleaner, so far none can get rid of it so i searched my computer for anything containing new.net and newdot net, and in desperation, deleted everything containing traces of it, (now everything seems to be working fine) but i have one file left in the recycle bin, i think it is a dll file - but it wont empty out of there, it says that windows is using the file.

I'd restore that dll file. If you're getting a message that it's in use it's probably a genuine dll (there are lots, and they're used by all kinds of programs). And if the system's working okay you've probably purged all tha new.net garbage from your system anyway.

Aha ! Thanks very much, i just restored it and its fine - you were right it fixed the missing window at the bottom of the screen too (the one which displays the web page in use) !
