I have a price list covering a number of pages and to make it look neat would like to frame each group prices on a page (variable number of items) to make boxes. Although I can make the empty boxes first and then insert the text, because there are different amounts of information to go in each box they are to be different sizes so is not practical to make empty boxes first. Therefore, I want to draw a box round the info. Can any kind person give simple instructions - Thanks.

Using what ?

You say "XP - Making Boxes" but Windows XP is an operating system.

Are you using Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, or some other application ?

Sorry - using WORD

Can you use the "tables" option?

The boxes can be joined together (merged) and will grow according to the amount of information you are entering.

Otherwise you would need to draw text boxes and cut and paste the information into them.

Or use Borders - go Tools / Borders and Shading..
