help - mad popup problem!

We have always had quite a few popups on our PC when on the internet, but it has recently reached an enormous amount, mostly for "Cassava 888.com" and casino.co.uk! They just duplicate, for instance at the moment there are 5 exactly the same ads for casino.co.uk and will soon be several more. We are fed up as it is interfering with our internet use now. Can anyone suggest a free program that may help us remove these unwelcome visitors?

P.S. We already have tried pop-up blockers, I think the problem goes deeper than that...

you probably have adware embeded in your system. They can overide popup blockers. Have you any sweeper programes on you system?

I use Spy Sweeper which cleans my system of the ad ware, spy ware and viruses that inhabit a lot of the web pages. It regularly updates the fingerprints so it constantly remains active against old and new threats.
