That being the case, then in general you may say anything you wish as long as it can be proven to be the truth in a court of law. People are allowed to get upset with what you say (just as you're allowed to say it in the first place), but if they can prove that something you say is both untrue and defamatory, then it is libel and you can be sued.
Having said that, I believe there's a case currently ongoing regarding something someone said in a blog which they are currently being sued for libel over. I don't know if there's been an outcome to that case as yet.
