my pc has started to freeze after been on 20-30 mins, have avast pro anti-virus and anti-spyware, it works fine then the mouse stops moving and the light on tower stops!!!

Many computer have an in-built safety function which closes down the computer if the CPU (central processing unit) overheats. Overheating could be caused by the cpu fan not working, poor air circulation in the case itself or maybee the heat sink attached to the CPU (under the fan) is full of dust. A good clean out of the entire case contents with low pressure air (cannisters of air are stocked by most computer shops for this purpose) could be a good move. (Don't forget to blow the dust out of the power supply unit which can also overheat and shut down). There are other possible causes for your computer to close down by itself but overheating would be the first thing to look at.
