zango removal

Has anyone found a way to remove zango from a computer without paying? I followed every instruction and it's still there. Never got one like that before, they should sell their secret to Bill Gates...

try looking here. it suggests using spybot search and destroy to remove it.

I assume your problem comes back after restarting right ? after you follow the removal instructions, click_here and follow the three posts i suggested to magicbeatle. Please let me know how or if it works out for you. and be sure to do all of these suggestions before restarting your computer.

Thanks peanut, spybot doesn't know it, but a subsequesnt search found x-cleaner, which did. The main difference being zango is a full-fledged program which can't be deleted without a reboot, and x-cleaner is one of the only free programs able to do that. Phew!

Yep, just had to be persistent. And it's a darn useful program for many other things as well.
