Rover 75 boot catch and door key

I've just bought a 75 without handbook.I'm over the moon with the car but am frustrated that the boot catch is inside the car.Is there a way of opening the boot with the key.?

Also I only had one key .Where can I get another one cut as a spare?

Hi spare keys are only available from dealerships which deal in Rover parts they have to be ordered to chassis number and then coded to the car some form of i.d must be produced when ordering as well as the log book I still work for an ex dealer and we still have access to parts and the rover computor to code these keys ( arnold clark gt. homer street L'pool 01512072244).As for the boot lock,if no lock present in boot lid try pressing the unlock button on the key fob for about 2_3 seconds and this should release the boot lock

your ignition key/door key will unlock the boot there is a key hole next to the reg plate at the rear.

have you tried ebay as you can get the rover 75 font key but ,you need to get in contact with an rover dealer to activate the key. i dont know which part of the uk you are from but jct600 in wakefieid can help you to your local dealer. telephone nuber is 01924 37100.
