Firefox - Bookmarks Vanished
5 Answers
Can anyone help please, PC Crashed earlier, came back on OK afterwards, but my Firefox Bookmarks have all disappeared as have the personalised options (toolbars etc) - I restored the system to yesterdays date (as this happened before and doing this sorted it) but still the same - its not a major problem but I did have several hundred bookmarks used for reference and it would be far easier to retieve them than try and remember them one by one?
Would appreciate any pointers please.
Ive read an earlier thread and am more than happy that theres no Spyware/Virus involved.

This includes extensions, themes - everything.

It looks a bit daunting, but if I can work my way round it, anyone can.

Also, you can use the free del.icio.us website:

You can categorise your bookmarks, and they store them for you. The firefox extension "foxylicious" imports them into firefox so they behave as normal bookmarks. What's more, they're available anywhere you have an internet connection, so not only are they safe (they're stored by del.icio.us, not yourself), but you can access them from a friend's house or when on holiday.
Finally, the "Tab mix plus" extension has a session saver than can be a life saver sometimes -- remembering what tabs you had open and everything!
