sky digital & phone connection

Anyone know how i can get sky digital without having an active phone landline?

Therefore it is not something that is needed for it to work. Perhaps if you offer to sign up for longer than 12 months or pay a connection fee they might do it? </PRE>

I think you need it to be contracted but you can unplug it the minute it is installed. Its only for the 'interactive' services ie. the really slow and useless stuff that is just adverts for other sky stuff anyway.
Perhaps if its an issue and you dont have a landline consider a cable company?

When we had problem with our landline, SKY sent us a nasty bill because the telephone line was not connected.

Eventually refunded when the landline was repaired. But it's part of your contract when you first install.
