Can anyone tell my why my ps2 will play all of my games but one. I've had the game replaced as I thought it was faulty, but the machine still can't recognise the disk?

Hmm... might be a disc read error. I think that is most likely... therefore if it is, then you need a new PS2. Ring up Sony and tell them you have a suspected disc read error and they will send you a new one.

Hi. Thank god the error wasn't that major. I thought i'd try the advice of someone else and try cleaning the laser with a cotton bud and it worked like a charm. I really reccommend this to anyone else. Try cleaning it. It may just save you a lot of cash!

Hi, my son had problems with his ps2 reading certain games. Some of the disks have a certain colour. And ps2 does not recognise them. Will ask him tomorrow. But we also had to get the ps2 fixed in the end as it ended up not reading any thing. Cost about �30
