Desktop resolutions

Is there a way of making the desktop larger without increasing the 1280x1024 resolution? I need more space! Thanks. PM

If you have Windows XP you can use two monitors with the one computer, each showing different things.

I'm not 100 sure what you mean, but if it is due to you having too many icons on your desktops then could you create folders? For example, on my home pc I have folders for 'work files', 'games', 'videos', 'pics' etc. Then you can put whatever icons you have into an appropraite folder.

Hope this is what you meant.
