i have a phone that currently has a pay-as-you-go sim for 02


i would like the keep this sim, as i want to keep my number


i am looking at buying a new phone, also on the same network


does this mean i should be able to transfer my sim with no problem?

I recently took over my sister's old phone when she updated, and just put my old O2 sim card in and there was no problem at all. Everything just transferred over to the new phone, phone numbers as well.
as long as the sim is not too old it will work. old sims very rarely work on modern mobiles. something to do with the operating system i.e. 3g or 2.5g
