how do i adjust the internet security settings on ntl,

it wont let me get secure page's, ie bank account,my ebay, or any site's i would use to pay things?

please keep answers in layman terms please?

I would have a look at the security settings in IE.

Tools - Internet Options.

(I have NTL and don't recollect having to change any settings anywhere to use banking etc)

Have you got a popup blocker? This can sometimes cause problems with some sites.

this problem started a few weeks back, i can no longer access my Msn,and loads of other things on this comp now?

i posted on here with my problem,and someone suggested my security settings, i asked how i could change it but they never answered back?

Back to where I was before:

In Internet Explorer - select TOOLS and then INTERNET OPTIONS

From the menu that appears click on the Security Tab.

I cannot make any suggestions here because there are just too many options to tick / untick - you can look at them if you have the INTERNET Globe icon highlighted and click on CUSTOM LEVEL lower down. I have some enabled / some disabled / some prompt etc . Too many to write a list of - sorry.

BUT you could try putting your bank site into the trusted sites area - as long as you know its https:// address as against its http:// address. This is for the secure part of the site. Might work??
