Hi my mate just sent me a link to get a free ipod... actually a bit in the dark ages and not sure what it is or how to use one... anyway all i have to do is copy and paste the link http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=29602804 and complete and offer get 5 mates to coplete an offer and then once my offer has been accepted about a week down the line you i can cancel it... once 5 mates have signed up i get a free ipod..

well thats the theory... do these things actually happen? do you really geta free ipod etc? thinkin of clickin it but dunno..

Seems a genuine offer (surprisingly, in this day and age). Works by having you get friends to sign up for trial offers from companies like AOL, Ancestry.com, etc. Google's full of it, on reputable websites. Take a look at http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614,00.html

Forget it. It is a scam. I've heard of a few of these and all they do is encourage people to send spam emails etc. Its a form of free advertising for the company.

And anyway.....since when did anyone ever get something for nothing. There's always a catch.

Yeah brilliant idea - and I presume you did read the terms and conditions???

They have the right to increase the number of respondents you have to have to get the free thing - oh,and it all has to be through their site, and they reserve the right to replace the product with one not of the same or greater value - great! - and then 90 days after you get the required number - but only of you have the right points accumulated, and oh, look 'we reserve the right to place an account on hold at any time' - well thats got my vote then!

You get nothing for free - you have to advertise their business, and then accept their t&c's.

Your choice.
