recycle bin

my recycle bin is apparently corrupt, i can get red of contents bt right clicking and choosing empty but not by left clicking and choosing delete by left click, could anybody give me any ideas to restore it to its proper configuration please

shtml This is for the IE icon but I think the tweakUI utility has the recycle bin as well. TweakUI 2000 is available from the internet and works on NT/2000/XP.
