So, getting hold of a direct replacement would probably prove almost impossible.
Voice Organizersare still manufactured and you can order the latest models direct from the manufacturer. Depending upon the capacity of each model there are versions available at $99, $129 and $149. Those, however, are the 'US' versions which, for example show the 5th of August as 8---5. If you want an 'international' version (with the 5th of August shown as 5---8) the prices for equivalent models are $129, $149 and $169. You can also purchase a PC link, which lets you view and print out all of the stored data, for $19 extra.
Unfortunately, the 'Order' link on the website seems to be dead (I've tried with both Firefox and Internet Explorer) so I can't tell you what the international shipping costs are. So, if you want to place an order you'll have to e-mail the manufacturer. The manufacturer's website is here:

Alternatively, you could lok for a secondhand model similar to yours. There's a model #5500 (which I'd guess is very similar to #5300) on offer, on eBay, from a seller in the US. The seller has got a near excellent (99.8%) positive feedback score and will ship the Voice Organizer for $12.50 (according to the calculator on his eBay webpage). With 4 days left to go, the vendor is still waiting for an opening $3 bid. This means that you might be able to replace your machine for about a tenner in total:

Hi. I am the other person who was bidding on the Voice Organizer. I wanted it for my dad. He has one but it no longer works and he desperatly wants a replacment. I am not sure what you have put as your max bid on ebay but I dont want to go more than 20 as the postage to the UK is about 15. I have stopped bidding just now. Could you tell me what your max bid is and I will see whether I can go more than you, because I dont think you will be wanting two! If you can help me that would be great, but if you want two and dont want to tell me your max bid thats fine I understand. Thanks sampir
hi i'm sorry about that Sampir but i had already left my maximum bid for $40 which is about 21.25 ,when i went back to site i spotted another one and bid the asking price and won it,i didn't know how to stop my maximum bid on the first one ,read about how to stop it but it was too messy for me to do,so go ahead and i hope you get it for your Dad ,and it helps him ,sorry but i dont really know much about bidding.good luck kathleen.
I've used the same voice organizer for several years. I used it so much I had to have two to keep up. I have just been given a new cell phone that take care what I needed the organizers for so I am selling both of them. I have two orgnizers, one charger and one manual. Would you be interested in buying them?
