We have a portable Bush TV. It is about 4 years old, and has hardly been used. After about 13 months, just out of guarentee, it started turning itself off after about 2 mins of use. We left it alone for months, then my farther in law took it to a retired tv engineer who 'changed some settings' and it was Okay for a year. It started doing it again about 12 months ago. Unable to contact the engineer again we stuck it in the garage. I know there is a sleep timer and I've messed with this but this timer seems to be off.


Can anyone give me any idea what 'settings' I can look for?
