The only way round this is to have your PS2 chipped.
A much easier way would be to buy a network adaptor (assuming it's the old big style PS2), fit a hard disk and get a copy of hd advance, then you can copy games to the hard disk and play them from there without having to insert the original.
If you have one of the new slim PS2's then you can use a USB hard disk to do the same thing.
