I have downloaded some radio programmes from the net. These are apparently RA files. I would like to burn these onto CDs. What do you have to do? When I tried to open them, my PC suggested I downloaded Real Player 10.5. If I do that, how will the files appear on my desktop? I have Windows Media Player and normally what I do when I want to burn stuff onto a CD I just drag and drop them onto a new playlist. As you can probably tell, I'm floundering. Please help!
they are real player files, so need real player to run. but i have a feeling that .ra files are only links to streams, i.e. not the actual content itself.
I believe what fo03nix says is so, also. A .ra is just a pointer to the actual data, like a URL. You could save them to a CD, but when you played them Real Player would just try to access the internet to get the actual files to play.
