uninstalling Limewire

i was hopeing someone out there in internet land can help i recently unindstalled limewire as it was infected. first off i took it out of my start up and uninstalled it i then went to desktop uninstalled icon then went to my computer removed program . then restarted the computer and then a (unipop) came up and the lime wire sign popped up as if it was going to start up. then the (unipop) stayed there stating that there was some infected files or corrupt please can you re-install but i just want the dam thing off for good no limewire

Start Menu - settings - control panel - add/remove programs - click on limewire - click on remove.

I also had to remove it nortons went ballistic with it - and it is full of add/spyware.
