Excel help!

I've got a spreadsheet containing 1000's of postcodes, loads of them are repeated, is there a way I can delete the repeated entries quickly? Thanks

Have you tried using the 'Autofilter' and 'Advanced Filter..' in the 'Data' menu?

I did think about it, but I thought that was for only returning data with values that you specified, if I'm wrong please tell me!

You are right, but it's also another way of viewing repeated data and deleting it, depending on how your spreadsheet is set out. At least I have used it this way a few times.
How is your spreadsheet set out?

just as a huge page of postcodes entered into cells, about 80 columns x 80 rows, no headers, or anything sensible! It's how the info was given to me, and unfortunately I had no control over that!
