Daevoo De dvd recorder model DR-2100P

I am having trouble recording programmes from sky planner. Everytime i press `rec` button on remote `p`comes at the end of the rec, which I know means its in pause mode.


I have tried all the buttons but cannot get rid of the `p` so cannot record/


Does anyone know whats causing this problem with the `p` reappearing?

Kiera - If you are in RECORD/PAUSE mode, try pressing RECORD+PLAY together. I have to do that on my JVC unit.

Tried that but no luck. Rec comes on first then the `p`.

If it's Daewoo, try ringing the helpline if you get nowhere.


I have a Daewoo combined video/DVD Recorder and have had no problems, but if I did have I could ring 0870 100 2525
