Does anyone know why I would have problems accessing any BBC web pages?

I've had all the setting checked, ran a full virus scan and a system restore�There doesn't seem to be any kind of local problem as I can access at work etc, I can access all other websites as normal.

This has been going on for over a week now, it starts as normal but seems to timeout before it gets to the page � then I get the 'Page cannot be displayed' message.

Any help appreciated, thanks

I�m using Blueyonder Broadband with IE6 and Windows XP � if that�s any help!!��(I�ve tried IE7 and Firefox too but get the same problem.

In Outlook , select menu option View > Current View > Customise Current View...
A box should appear: click on the Fields button to select the fields you want to see...hope this helps

I have firefox and all the bbc web pages work fine.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ does it come up when you click on the link??

where are you? i was recently amazed that the BBC site has access blocked completely in China, and most middle east countries.

Also it could be other programs restricting access, have you recently installed a new firewall/pop-up-blocker/p2p-enhancer?

I'm in the UK - Newcastle so there shouldn't be any problem.

Haven't installed anything new - but uninstalled everything added in the last month just in case - but, still getting the same problem!!

Try reseting your router / modem - this will give you a new IP address (on the assumption that you have a dynamic address).

For some reason I couldn't get on the dell site a while back - reseting the router worked for me!

ok, tried a modem reset - no luck!!

Still can't get on!!

Please keep your ideas coming - my son is desperate to play on the CBeebies site!

hello andrea h, im afraid i have no answer for you as I don't really understand technical bits but just wanted to say all BBC websites are REALLY slow to download, particularly between 4pm and 7pm, I use the celebdaq, radio one and cbeebies websites just about everyday and they are terrible, don't know what that means but there you go. I hope you get it sorted soon, you'll have to buy your 3yr old some cbeebies magazines for now!(think the freebie is stickers this week if you fancy having them on your furniture, walls, fridge.......)

FOR THE SANITY OF THIS MOTHER.. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP HER!!!
