Hi, a couple of weeks ago I put my pc games into CD cases so the take up less space and just scanned the front covers to put in the front of the CD's. I no longer now have the booklets or front covers as I threw them out. I now have just realised that was stupid as when I try to reinstall them, it asks for some code which is either in the booklet or on the back of the case I think. I obviously havn't got the codes now so is their any way of getting them again?

Cheers

Why would you throw away the CD cases ?

Sorry but this sounds really dodgy to me as if you've got a countrfeit or copied version of a game.

If you threw away the covers that included the codes then that was rather stupid.

You deserve all you get.

No! there is no way you can get them back, they are pacific codes for each one.

You might want to visit the dump to scoop them out. *_*
I don't think its stupid at all as I often throw away all the gumph that comes with cd's, games etc. I store everything in a folder then and it takes up hardly any room at all.

It is unfortunate that you forgot to look for the codes, however, why not try contacting the game manufacturers, Explain the situation to them and ask if you posted the cd's back to them so that they could they were original and not pirated copies if they would supply the code.

I'm a little dissapointed with some of the replies given to peoples questions recently, they are more to do with putting other people down then anything constructive.

what are pacific codes ?

is that like the specific ocean ?

just google for hitman serial code e.t.c or whichever game.but beware a lot of these sites have viruses.alternately gamecopy world is a good site to start with and has lots of links as well.
There is some way to use your regedit to find codes for ur games which have been installed on your computer.
Run > regedit. Search throught the folders for your games and you should be able to find them - if you ever had them installed!
