Itunes Downloads

I download various things from itunes to put them on my ipod (mostly podcasts, but occaisionally audio books), but I can't find where it stores the actual files on my computer. Can anyone give me any tips on how I can locate them?

go to start.open up my music folder. go to itunes open it up and then open itunes music.
They will be stored in folders.
