Why, when I try to watch a video clip,the picture breaks up across the middle of the screen.Picture is clear above and below the break up.Thanks to anyone who can help

A desk top computer Approx 2yrs old.ISP provided by Wanadoo anytime.Source of video mostly BBC News player.Planet Earth,Football etc and it does it with most video clips.As with other formats, dont know
