internet explorer closing

when i turn my pc on i often get a message stating that "microsoft explorer has encountered a problem and must close do you wish to send an error report" it does not really explain what the problem was and the pc is working fine at normal speed etc so was just wondering why i get this message more often than i used to and what is the problem thanks

Normally when you get an error report request there is an option for more detail which you could try but it's usually tech stuff that I don't grasp, but you can disable error reporting in system properties of My Computer, Advanced, Error reporting
