aol on 2 computers

we pay for Aol monthly, but can only use the account on one computer at a time. this is very annoying as we have to keep arranging with each other when we need to use it. we are allowed 7 email addresses so why can only one of us use our account at a time?


does anyone know a way round this - other that paying for 2 accounts.

if both computers are in the same house then use a router which can be wireless if you like but needn't be. Routers are "always on" and usually have at least 4 ethernet outputs
<DIV>I should add that I have very limited experience of AOL so ask elsewhere before buying anything. I do rememeber though that sign in screen on AOL is very personalised and if you only used IE and not their own browser on the second pc would that help?

<DIV>Otherwise change ISP's if you're not tied to a contract as all others manages as many pc's on line as you'll need without any extra cost
AOL really are naughty beggars. I would recommend changing ISP. Anyway, here's a guide to home networking and getting more than 1 person online at the same time :
