I agree with ugly_bob. Stop using internet explorer and start using firefox. Miles and miles better.

If you've run Windows Updates and SP2 then that should build a popup blocker into Internet Explorer. Also, others seem to recommend the google toolbar although I've never used it.
Beyond that I'd agree that Firefox is a better browser and I'd recommend that.

i find the www.altavista.co.uk toolbar/popup blocker quite good
