Everytime I try to send an email in Outlook Express I get disconnected - how can I fix this?

Do you get disconnected after the Email has been sent ?


I suspect your connection settings in Outlook Express are set to 'hang up' after sending receiving. Check in OE Tools-> Options -> Connection and untick the box if ticked.


Could be other reasons too. What type of Internet connection do you use ?

This is more likely your firewall stopping outlook as it tries to connect to the web, check the settings and make sure its not blocking outlook.
