List in alphabetical order
I have listed all of our DVD's on the computer. Is there anyway, through the computer, they can be put into alpabetical order without me doing it the laborious way?

That will put it in a table which you can then sort as per her instructions.
And having a go at it myself I've learnt something new so thank you Yorky Lass for the suggestion.
I've found you don't have to convert Text to Table. Just highlight the text and click table. Once you have clicked "sort" a box opens - select Field 1 in the Sort By box and select Text in the type box.
I'm using Word 2000 but I thought it would be the same in any Word. I use to do it in Wordperfect too.
Machecoul - learnt something from you too ie Convert Text to Table, thanks
For insurance purposes,I have listed all our DVD's on the Microsoft Windows XP Wordpad, saving it on the "Documents" and updating on the new purchase of a DVD.
At the moment, they are in "alphabetical order" in a rough fashion(eg:putting Braveheart in front of the Battle of Britain),but I just fancied doing them properly without the task of doing them one by one.
On the other hand, some of you more wiser ones may say "Why bother,if they are listed A-B?".
