My server cuts out after 20 mins, usually if I'm reading something that's fairly long and involved. Is there a way to extend this time to may be an hour? Thanks.

Assuming you're talking about your modem connection your ISP, then yes. Look under Dial-up Networking properties for the connection in question. If you're talking about something else then I don't follow...
If you're running Outlook Express, go into Tools/Options/General and change the "Check for new messages" time from the default of 30 minutes to 10 minutes. This worked for me when I had the same problem
There is a checkbox Cetti, in internet options\ connections \ settings (somewhere around there) that is default set to 'disconnect after 20 mins. Maybe find it and set to 'Never'.

You've got it xyzzy! I thought it was definitely under Internet options etc - but as yet not able to find it - thanks anyway - and that goes to everyone.
