Hpw do I put MP3 files onto cd-r disc?

I have loaded software into my laptop to transfer wma/wav files to mp3 and this works fine and I can load the mp3 into my mobile but when I put them onto cd-r they play in cd player-not as mp3???? Do I need more software to burn mp3?? thanks in advance, Amanda x

Depends on what software you are using.
You need to find an option that says 'make mp3 cd' or 'make data cd' or something similar

It sounds as though you are burning them as an audio CD rather than a data CD.

You shouldn't need any more software - just select 'data CD' in your burning program and add your MP3 files.

IF ur using Itunes u can burn them as a data cd.. if not u can drop and drag the files to the cd icon and it should burn as a data disk with the files as mp3.. works with my mp3 cd players
