mouse scrolling problem

Hi. I seem to have messed up my mouse settings somehow. When I click on the bottom or top of the scroll bar (eg while in answerbank) each question moves up or down, one question at a time till it eventually reaches the end. Simillarily, if I put the mouse pointer on a question and roll the scroll wheel, the questions move a frame or two at a time, slowly, like the horizontal hold on a TV. I tried a different mouse, but the results were just the same. I have just had a new hard drive fitted, so I suppose a windows restore is not an option! Thanks for looking.

I tried that but the mouse still scrolls in the same manner, but at a different speed.

click on start, control panel, printers and other hardware, mouse then select restore defaults. :)
