About to buy an iPod but have some questions first...
1 Answers
Am just about to buy a 60gig iPod Video but wondered if anyone could tell me:
1) The Outlook synching - is ti possible to add Contacts, Tasks, and Calendar events on the iPod itself? There's no keyboard! (Clearly the intial data dump will be done from the PC so no excessive entering - but if I'm out and want to add something to the to do list, it would be annoying to have write it down and then add it through Outlook later....)
2) There are lots of crack softwares out there, but if I choose to I can use it as a data drive only, right (like any old external hard drive?)
3) How are the PDA functions on the iPod? Obviously limited, but are they worth using? I'm not a PDA person but it would come in handy....
Many thanks.

2) You can use it as an external hard drive, and still use some of it as a player if you wish.
3) pda functions are of so little use as to be non-existent. (My opinion , others may have found uses)
