Playstation 2 problems

can anybody help me with this problem? my playstation wont work properly. every time i put a game in you get the first two begining screens then nothing else. the game doesnt even load so what do i need to do for it to work? has anybody got an ideas please?

Buy a new one!! Have you checked all leads and screen connection

try turning it upside down - it changes the gap between disc and laser slightly.has worked for me in the past but it sounds like your ps2 is on its way out.

Yeh sounds like its on its way out. This happened to my mates ps2 and he tried all the lens cleaners and disc cleaners but it just wont work!
