MSN messenger

I cnnot uninstall my msn messenge.i've even tried the add/remove program thing and i desperarly want to get rid of it. so please someone help me.

you cannot uninstall the originally installed msn I tried when i updated mine sometimes says i am signed in elsewhere confusing at first i know but i dont think you can uninstall the first one only updates that you might have installed

I think you're talking about Windows Messenger, not MSN Messenger. MSN Messenger is the nice, flashy-looking one and Windows Messenger is the dull one that is installed by default. You can use this program

but a much easier way is to go to C:\Program Files\ and look for the "Messenger" folder. Rename this to something like OldMessenger and it won't load with Windows. If in the the future you want the Windows Messenger back, rename the folder back to "Messenger"

if it is windows messenger youre talking about go to add remove programs then on the left go to add remove windows components. then remove windows messenger.
