Is there any way I can receive text messages on my PC? I know you can send them, but don't know if you can receive them.

Excellent question, I want to know as well now
You could if you bought our telephony system which the company i work for, retails.... (35k for the basic system)
I got it to work on ICQ but that was a while ago and haven't tried it lately. My girlfriend says it can be done on Lycos.
If you sign up to either Lycos or O2, you can send someone an sms to their phone, and if they reply to it, the message will appear in an inbox in your lycos or 02 account on your PC
Found it myself ! Tried it and it works ! Look at http://www.dmwp.co.uk/site/sms2email.php Start your message with: pop3 Then put the recipients email address: [email protected] Then put: + Then the subject: This is the subject line Then put: + Then tap out your message: This is a message... Send to: 07766 40 41 42 Your message should look like this: pop3 [email protected] + This is the subject line + This is a message...
