mp3 skipping

i have some mp3s that i ripped from a cd and when i play them they skip. the cd they came from was scratched so that is probably the problem. does anyone know of any software that will fix the problem preferably free software.

Hi, when I have had problems with mp3's. I have used a freeware program called Yamp. With this you can convert the files to wave then back to mp3.
