My mates got some old music on tape which he wants to copy to CD. Does anyone know how and what he needs to have to be able to do this? I've got a CD rewriter on my PC but I'm not sure if that helps!

You can buy a decent CD player/recorder for around 200 from Richer Sounds (for example); just plug in an amp and the tape deck (and turntable to record from vinyl).
