Can you convert a microsoft works processor doc into a Word document?

Is this possible please as I'm trying to email a document to a system that doesn't read microsoft's works processor docs!

Works and word don't really talk to each other. What you could do is cut and paste the document contents into wordpad which comes with windows and word will quite happily read it.

If the person at the other end does not need to update the document then you could convert your document to a PDF.

PDF stands for Portable Document Format and anyone with the free Adobe Reader can view it. That is the whole point of PDF.

There are quite a few free PDF creators on the web if you hunt around.

Try saving it as RTF format first. Word 2003 DOES read Microsoft Works documents.
